Works council
The works council is an employee-only body representing interests of the employees. Its members are protected by law; their employment relationship cannot be simply terminated. Who prevents a works council from being active, can expose himself to penalties.
Due to the divergence of interests between the employer and the works council, their relationship might often be complicated. We support employers in all questions concerning the relationship with the works council: from the election of the works council to the right of co-determination, the information rights, the consultation rights and the dissolution of the works council.
