Reconstruction in the post-war period

Attorney Dr. Fritz Fuchs was an active member from  1934 to 1945 in the Confessing Church and was together with his catholic friend attorney Dr. Fritz Manstetten after 1945 one of the founding members of the CDU in Cologne. Attorney Dr. Fritz Fuchs was  elected in the City council and was the mayor of Cologne  for many years. Also he was member of the Bar Counsel at the Federal Supreme Court Karlsuhe. Attorney Dr. Fritz Manstetten was for many years vice president of the Bar Association Cologne and held other countless honorary positions.

In 1962 the attorneys Dr. Fritz Fuchs and Dr. Fritz Manstetten founded with the young member of the board of the Bar Association Cologne attorney Wilhelm Scheffen a law office admitted at the Regional Supreme Court.

Attorney Wilhelm Scheffen was at that time President of the Lawyers' Association Cologne and afterwards for one election period member in the City Council. He held over decades several honorary positions in the Evangelical Church.
