Domains and request to dispute settlement
In the course of a legal dispute about a trademark or the naming rights it is of high importance to gain detailed knowledge of the domain from the other party. The fastest, simplest and most cost efficient way is to make a request to a dispute settlement as far as German based domains are concerned. As a consequence of the request the claimant is the new owner of the domain, if at the same time the former owner decides to present a request of cancellation.
